We use the Barton Reading & Spelling system which is an Orton- Gillingham influenced simultaneously multisensory explicit and systematic phonics based program. This program is self paced and based on student mastery. The Barton System has ten levels (books). The levels are:

If a student finds the Barton Book One content too challenging, we begin with our Foundations in Sounds program. The program builds confidence with clear, sequential lessons and plenty of practice, so students master the essential skills needed to return to Barton successfully. We individualize pacing, monitor progress closely, and celebrate small wins to keep learners motivated and ready for the next step.
